ABOUT US
At MINDFLOW Jiu-Jitsu, we believe martial arts should build confidence-not ego. We’ve seen firsthand how aggressive, ego-driven training can be counterproductive. That’s why our approach prioritizes safety, technical growth, and mutual respect—creating a space where everyone can progress at their own pace.
Founded by Sandro Tucci in 2017, MINDFLOW Jiu-Jitsu was created to help individuals of all backgrounds learn effective self-defence and develop both physically and mentally. Inspired by the philosophy of Helio Gracie, Sandro brings nearly 30 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Kickboxing-combining proven technique with a thoughtful, hands on teaching style.
Sandro began his BJJ journey in 1997, training with Nova União’s Wendell Alexander and Wagney Fabiano in Brazil. After earning his black belt under Jorge Britto in 2014, he continued to refine his craft under 8-time world champion Robson Moura.
At MINDFLOW, our focus is on practical, real-world Jiu-Jitsu—developing awareness of strikes, control, and positioning to protect yourself effectively, especially on the ground. We value our training partners as essential to growth—not just as martial artists, but as people.
Our environment is free of ego and centered on learning, safety, and personal development.
MINDFLOW is not a fight club—it’s a university for Jiu-Jitsu: a place to study, grow, and thrive together. Whether your goal is fitness, self-defence, or personal growth, our doors are open. Come and train with us and experience the difference.

TESTIMONIALS
“MINDFLOW Jiu-Jitsu changed my life.”
“Before I joined MINDFLOW Jiu-Jitsu, depression, social anxiety, and a lack of self confidence were factors in my every action. Jiu-jitsu has changed my outlook on life and my view of myself.”
“Since joining the club I have not only lost weight and am in better shape, but I have also had two promotions in 12 months at my job - and my social life is the healthiest it has ever been.”
“Professor Sandro Tucci and his team at MINDFLOW help improve your self confidence, check your ego, and remind you that Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial art - it’s a way of life. The principles that learn on the mats apply to every part of your life.”
“The improvements I’ve experienced make me confident that I’ll train Jiu-Jitsu for the rest of my life.”
Thank you, Sandro.”

“I had been boxing for a while and thought it was time to take on a new challenge. That’s when I decided to start doing Jiu-Jitsu and learn more techniques in order to defend myself.”
“I walked in the first time without knowing what to expect and found a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and generous group of people who made me feel super welcomed!”
“Classes in itself are great - we warm up, learn a few techniques and then we train for a few rounds. It’s easy to get addicted as you see progress every session and everybody will show you ways to keep getting better and better.”
“The core, legs and grip get crazy strong and the whole body feels more flexible. Jiu-Jitsu is very humbling and it teaches lessons that are easily transferable to life.“
- Javiera Conejeros
"From the moment I met him, Sandro had this warm, “happy-you’re-here” energy. After just a couple of classes, I knew without a doubt that I’d found the right place. Over the years, I’ve seen Sandro refine not only his teaching style but also his entire philosophy around BJJ.
“And somewhere along the way, it becomes impossible not to become friends with him.”
Training at MINDFLOW doesn’t just sharpen your martial arts skills—it also invites you to reflect on deeper things like ego, humility, and mental well-being. As we work through techniques, we grow in mutual respect. We train hard, but we’re never adversaries—we’re friends.
MINDFLOW isn’t just another BJJ school. Once you’ve trained here, you’ll see every other place a little differently. You’ve been warned."

"After a long layoff from training I am grateful to have found a home at MINDFLOW. Injuries and life choices kept me off the mats for years - getting back into it with this team has renewed my enthusiasm and dedication in a major way.”
“What attracts me to MINDFLOW is the focus on taking care of yourself and your training partners. The old Jiu-Jitsu adage, "You get better - I get better" is very present here with respect to learning and training.
“As we train with intention, we are also mindful of injury prevention by stretching, but most importantly by respecting your partners! I train here today, but I have to go to work tomorrow, so that I can come back and train again.”
“One of the greatest impacts Jiu-Jitsu has had on my life is that the learning process has (repeatedly!) humbled me. The environment at MINDFLOW supports my need to check my ego - to be aware of how I am showing up, and treating others, as we are all in this together.
“I also loved it so much that I became an instructor."
- Chris Sheldon, Instructor and student at MINDFLOW
"When I first walked into the gym, I had no idea what Jiu-Jitsu even was. I wasn’t looking for a fight—in fact, I’ve never liked confrontation.”
The idea of engaging in something so physical and seemingly aggressive almost made me walk right back out.
“But that day, I asked a question, and the answer started to change the way I see myself and the world around me.”
At MINDFLOW Jiu-Jitsu, under the guidance of Sandro—the owner and instructor—I discovered that this practice is not about fighting. It’s about understanding movement, energy, and the body’s response under pressure.
“I learned that the answer isn’t always to resist or power through. More often, it’s to adapt—to evolve—until a path forward reveals itself.”
“Sandro teaches from personal experience. His approach is grounded in the same principles I’ve struggled with: discomfort, ego, and fear.”
Like me, he had to learn how to let go of the need to dominate and instead focus on flow, presence, and control.
“Through this journey, I’ve realized a few things. I still don’t like to fight. I still wrestle with discomfort.”
But now, I feel more at peace when faced with challenges. I’ve come to understand that ego isn’t the enemy—it’s part of our confidence, something to manage, not eliminate. And most importantly, I’ve started to feel comfortable being uncomfortable."
