Sandro Tucci
Head Coach & Owner
Sandro began his martial arts journey at 18 after spending eight years as a gymnast. He started with kickboxing at Twin Dragon and later transitioned to Thai Boxing at Siam No. 1, where he trained and taught for several years-sharpening both his skills and teaching approach.

At the age of 27 Sandro found Brazil Jiu-Jitsu after watching Royce Gracie in the first UFC. Intrigued by the arts efficiency, he shifted his focus to Jiu-Jitsu in 1997 for, even travelling to Brazil to train at its source. After a career break, he returned full time in 2010 full time and earned his black belt under Jorge Britto in 2014. He has since continued his training under 8-time world champion Robson Moura.
Today, Sandro holds a 3rd degree black belt and contiunes to teach and learn with passion. He trains boxing under Mayron Zeferino and strives to help every student grow-not just as martial artists, but as confident, capable individuals.

David Holman
​David has a lifelong passion for the grappling arts. He began training freestyle wrestling during high school and went on to compete on the varsity wrestling team at Queen's University. While living on the west coast, David discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and began practicing both Gi and No-Gi grappling.
He currently trains at MINDFLOW Jiu-Jitsu, where he holds a brown belt. In 2018, David won gold at the Ontario Open International Jiu-Jitsu Championships in the Master's Blue Belt Super Heavyweight division.
David’s philosophy is simple: Jiu-Jitsu is an art that never ends. He encourages students to train smart, stay curious, and have fun on the mats.​​​​​​

Jonathan Kim
​Jon began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2005 and has been passionate about the art ever since. Balancing life as a full-time professional and father, he understands the importance of maintaining consistency, discipline, and a balanced approach to training.
Jon brings a thoughtful, methodical mindset to the mats-focused on long-term growth, technical refinement, and enjoyment of the process. His goal is to help others find the same fulfilling and sustainable practice that Jiu-Jitsu has brought to his life.

Chris Sheldon
Chris is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt whose passion for the art began in 2005. Though life has included a few breaks along the way, he has always found his way back to the mats-training consistently and even seeking out academies while travelling.

Chris’s teaching focuses on defence, mobility, longevity, and functional strength, emphasizing Jiu-Jitsu as a lifelong practice. He is dedicated to helping students build resilient bodies, confident minds, and a strong sense of community both on and off the mats.

Mario Lozada
From a young age, Mario Lozada was driven by a passion for martial arts—both as a way to stay fit and as a means of self-defence. Inspired by Bruce Lee, he began training in combat sports in the early 1980s.
Between 1982 and 1984, Mario trained in wrestling, developing a foundation of discipline, strength, and grappling technique. In the 1990s, he dedicated himself to Tae Kwon Do, earning a brown belt in 1993, a testament to his perseverance and technical skill.
After years of personal and professional growth, Mario rediscovered his passion in 2010, beginning his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey. Since then, he has continued to refine his craft—drawing upon his background in wrestling, striking, and traditional martial arts to shape his approach to training and self-defence.
Mario’s martial arts story reflects a lifetime of dedication, resilience, and respect, honoring the values of discipline, humility, and continuous learning.​​​
